Welcome to Living In Harmony

Living In Harmony is a leader in Denmark within high-quality dining rooms and rattan furniture with extensive experience delivering to countries outside Denmark. Even when our goods are purchased sight unseen, we have only had satisfied customers, and that is because our specific products conform to our images and descriptions.

If you reside outside Denmark and buy from us, you will receive the same excellent commercial terms and conditions and warranties as residents in Denmark. For more details, please see the commercial terms and conditions below.


Products, quality, and company policy

Living In Harmony caters to the quality-conscious homeowner. What separates Living In Harmony from the general furniture industry is our extensive expertise, knowledge and our affection for woods and natural materials.

With the "Living In Harmony" concept, we seek to provide inspiration for your home decoration needs and to create a harmonious balance between design, comfort, function, materials, and outstanding quality.

 Our business is centred on dining rooms, and that focus helps us optimise our professional expertise and knowledge in that area. And the fact that many of our products are actually designed by Living In Harmony distinguishes us from other furniture houses.

Our concept is adapted to providing designs around our customers’ individual needs - we pride ourselves on our capacity to manufacture according to our own measurements and drawings.

Established by its current owner Carsten Elleby, Living In Harmony has existed as a furniture company since 1999. We have an 800 square meter store/showroom near Copenhagen dedicated to showcasing our dining rooms and rattan furniture.


Orders and deliveries

Most of our customers from abroad prefer to place personal and manual orders after first contacting us by e-mail and telephone.
We then send out an order confirmation by e-mail; and once you sign off on that confirmation, we put your furniture in production.
We charge a deposit of approx. 50% of the total order amount via bank transfer. The balance will not be payable until we issue a final invoice, once your products are finished and ready for shipment.

If you shop via our online store with a foreign-issue payment card, we charge the full amount upon checkout. Because of the rules governing online shopping of custom-manufactured goods, products will not be put in production until 14 days after orders are submitted. In other words, the combined lead-time will be longer for goods purchased online than if placing orders manually.

We take care of all the shipping details so that your entire shopping experience will be as easy and effortless as possible.
You will be contacted by the localshipper before your furniture is delivered to your home address. We use only experienced furniture shippers that understand how to care for and protect your goods while in transit.

When shopping for goods in Denmark, prices will include 25% Danish VAT and, if you are an EU citizen, you will not need to take any further steps with respect to your local customs authorities.
Shipping typically takes 1–2 weeks longer than for deliveries made in Denmark. We will notify you of the final delivery time in the order confirmation once we have your specific order details.


Secure shopping

Living In Harmony is a proud member of the industry organisation Danish Furniture Retailers Organisation.
Our foreign customers may lodge complaints for up to 24 months after purchase (for our business customers, that period is 12 months); otherwise, our general rules are in accordance with international law.
